Samsung Galaxy S3 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S2: Successor To The Throne


Samsung’s Galaxy S range has formed the sharp end of its smartphone lineup since the first handset in the series was released in 2010. These phones have helped cement Samsung as the top mobile phone manufacturer in the world and give it credibility as a company that can challenge Apple’s dominant iPhone. This time, we compare Samsung’s latest, the Galaxy S3, with its immediate predecessor, the Galaxy S2.

The two handsets largely represent the design choices of their times: the S2 has steeper edges and a more obviously slate-like design, while the S3 has softened, curvy edges. However, the S3’s shiny plastics almost feel like a step down from its predecessor.
